Together with the 9th Schweisstec international trade fair for joining technology, the 16th Blechexpo international trade fair for sheet metal working will take place from the 7th through the 10th of November, 2023. Already now, roughly 1½ years before the trade fair highlight, booking levels are higher than ever before at this time. As usual, the international expert audience in Stuttgart will experience a thematically focussed, practice-oriented event with cutting-edge technologies covering all aspects of the fabrication of parts made from sheet metal, profiles and pipe.

There can be no doubt that industry players in the fields of sheet metal working and joining technology will once again celebrate a feast of cutting-edge technologies from the 7th through the 10th of November, 2023. “Booking levels have never been so good at this time of year,” reveals Georg Knauer, project manager of the time-tested Blechexpo/Schweisstec trade fair duo. The trade fair promoter has taken a differentiated approach to fine tuning and adapting the exhibition hall layout. “It’s important for us to ensure that expert visitors enjoy a maximally efficient visit to the trade fair,” explains Knauer. “Our concept has always included a well-structured, concise and highly practical presentation of the issues. And this, by the way, applies to all of Schall’s trade fairs.”

Differentiated Hall Layout for an Efficient Visit to the Trade Fair

Halls 1, 3, 5 and 9 will be dedicated to sheet metal, pipe and profile processing. Halls 4 and 6 will be devoted to stamping technology. Joining and fastening technologies are scheduled for presentation in hall 7. Hall 8 is reserved for pressing and forming technology. Finally, the issues of steel/metal services and surface finishing technology will be addressed in hall 10. “Blechexpo/Schweisstec has a proven track record as a pragmatic event with working character”, says the project manager. “Exhibitors and expert visitors benefit from the direct practical relevance, the practicability and the synergy effects of the trade fair duo.” Efficient process technologies for modern laser technology, fully automated robotic sheet metal processing machines, precision tools and systems for punching, bending, braking and forming, as well as innovative micro-waterjet cutting technologies are exhibited here traditionally.

On-Site Trade Fair Highly Desired as an Irreplaceable Experience

According to the project manager, many exhibitors are requesting more booth space for 2023. “This indicates that many companies regard Blechexpo/Schweisstec as an important leading trade fair and a commercially valuable industry meet,” says Knauer. Once every two years, the trade fair presents numerous issues covering all aspects of thermal and mechanical sheet metal processing, along with system peripherals including controllers and software, as well as solutions for handling and quality assurance. With its cutting-edge technologies, Blechexpo/Schweisstec impressively reflects the industry sector’s performance capabilities. Investments in digitalisation and automation are currently on the agenda in the sheet metal working industry. Challenges arising from the need for energy efficiency, the conservation of resources and cost-effectiveness will also be addressed in Stuttgart by the exhibitors at Blechexpo/Schweisstec from the 7th through the 10th of November, 2023.
