More exhibitors from Germany, Europe and the world
Blechexpo records strong growth
Sheet metal, tubes, profiles – and their thermal as well as mechanical treatment and processing will be on display at Blechexpo in Stuttgart from November 5 to 8, 2019. The portfolio is complemented by Schweisstec, which is dedicated to modern welding, joining and connection technology. Absolute trend topics and the sustainable successes of the last years let Blechexpo 2019 grow into new dimensions!
More exhibitors, more square meters, higher internationality
Approximately one year before the upcoming Blechexpo 2019, the private trade fair company P. E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG and the project manager for Blechexpo and Schweisstec, Georg Knauer, are recording around 150 additional main exhibitors and 10,000 square meters of hall space more than during the corresponding period of the previous double trade fairs. “Those who want to participate again as an exhibitor or who are completely new should decide very soon to participate, because already it is not far to the record result of 2017.” In the case of bookings and reservations from near and far abroad, there has even been a substantial doubling: “With regard to technology companies from China and Spain, a good 12 months before the deadline we are already above the final figures from two years ago. Otherwise, we are on a growth course with almost all countries!” As one reason for the boom, the project manager sees the strictly practice-oriented concept of Blechexpo with Schweisstec, in which all relevant topics and trend aspects are covered that affect the digitalized and automated world of sheet metal and metal processing.
Highlights of sheet metal processing and joining technology draw
The construction material sheet metal, together with pipe and profile materials, has matured into a real alternative to conventional cast iron and steel construction or even to plastic constructions. Not massive welded steel constructions or very complex plastic parts integrating numerous functions, but intelligent and FEM-optimized lightweight construction and modular component systems characterize the image of modern, material-, weight- and cost-saving vehicle, machine and apparatus construction.
Precise cutting, punching, forming of high-strength and ultra-high-strength steel sheets are just as much in the foreground at Blechexpo as innovative mechanical engineering solutions, tools with long service lives and changeover devices for rapid tool changes. Pre- and final machining, assembly completion, the surface finish of safety-sensitive components as well as lightweight construction and design solutions are also the focus here. Last but not least, the trade event also covers the “trappings” from handling and quality assurance to digitization and automation solutions.
