Fully Automated Robotic Bending Cell (ATC included)
GIZELIS with more than 50 years of experience in the production of machines and solutions for the sheet metal industry, presents the State-of-the-Art, ROBOBEND 2 system, which is a fully automated robotic bending cell, incorporating Automatic Tool Change, Bending and Palletizing procedures, All-in-One, as a turnkey solution.
The system offers ultimate flexibility thanks to its smart design, as it can be operated in different modes:
- as a fully automated robotic bending cell (e.g., for mass production of repeated parts) or
- as Automatic Tool Change only, where the robot automatically builds the tool stations, then parks itself at the side and then an operator performs the bending or
- as a standard bending machine, operated by an operator, where the robot stays at the parking position and the operator bends the parts (e.g., for difficult parts, in small numbers)
Individual safety systems are being activated in every working mode, so that the system guaranties the safety of both personnel and equipment, in full compliance with the EU directives.
A large capacity of tooling (punches and dies) can be safely organized, inside a robust, smart tooling warehouse, which can store more than of 20m of punches and dies, including tooling in very small segments, necessary of bending small details.
The ROBOBEND 2 system, is accompanied with a powerful Offline Software, for programming and simulating the entire robotic cell. It accepts 2D/3D drawings of the part to be bent and then offline (while the system is working and producing profits for the enterprise) a trained engineer makes the programming of the complete robotic cell, so that to get it ready for the next job.
The integrated compatibility with Industry 4.0 protocols, boost the production evaluation, through a comprehensive data collection of many different parameters of the system, together with the powerful and direct remote maintenance services.
