Misati's innovative solution: Pneumatic Double-cylinder Pincer
Misati is the technological leader in automating multi-die transfer presses.
Our Lightweight Transfers are made up of technopolymer structural elements and pneumatic pincers (grippers), which can reach up holding forces of 270 daN, in order to get a perfect fastening of the sheet and the highest stamping speed at the minimum cost.
Misati's new double-cylinder pincers provide 93.3% more holding force than standard pincers, without compromising the compact size of the pincer.
Features of the new double-cylinder pincer:
Improved holding force: the new pincer guarantees a holding force of 330 daN (compared to 180 daN in conventional pincers) working at the same pressure of 6 bar.
Double-cylinder system: The pincer has been designed with two pneumatic cylinders working in series. This innovative design allows the forces of both chambers to be combined, significantly increasing the total holding force without the need to increase the size of the pincer.
Thanks to this increase in the holding force, the new double-cylinder pincer ensures the correct entry of the sheet in the most demanding operations, particularly in unloading operations at the last die, where the sheet is often split and requires a firmer clamping to avoid unwanted displacement.
