Precision Worm-Helical Gearbox SP125HD for Roll Forming Lines
The reinforced SP125HD Precision Worm-Helical Gearbox has been specifically developed for demanding roll forming applications. With identical dimensions and connection interfaces to the standard SP125 size (e.g. Dreistern P125), it can be integrated into existing roll forming lines without modifications.
Thanks to its increased drive capacity, the gearbox enables the safe forming and processing of thicker materials as well as steels with higher tensile strength.
Equipped with two output shafts featuring involute spline connections, the SP125HD achieves a permissible output torque of approx. 1,300 Nm – representing a 1.6x increase compared to conventional standard gearboxes.
This performance boost significantly expands the application range of roll forming lines:
· Upgrade from 50 mm to 63 mm work shafts, even with reduced tool width
· Reliable forming of high-strength materials
· Use of 80 mm work shafts in alternative line configurations
· Increased drive power at the forming unit for maximum productivity
