More InformationAt the 17th Blechexpo, the Schröder Group showcases its innovation in sheet metal processing.
From October 21 to 24, 2025, the company will present high-precision sheet metal processing machines at booth 1804 in Hall 1. In the spotlight: the MAK 4 Evolution UD, a fully automatic folding machine for sheet thicknesses up to 6 mm. The version on display features a working length of 3200 mm, automatic tool changers for both the clamping and folding beam, and the 3D control system POS 3000. The Advanced Handling System (AHS)—featuring a rotating plate with suction cups, a camera system, and motorized reference axes—ensures precise and safe positioning of large blanks weighing up to 236 kg. The sheet only needs to be aligned once—the rest is handled fully automatically by the machine.
Another highlight: the PowerBend Multi (PBM) 4000 × 2.0 mm, a motorized folding machine for thin sheet metal. With its motorized back gauge for tapered bending, motorized folding beam adjustment, and rotating clamping beam, it is the perfect solution for sheet metal workers and roofers. The integrated hemming function allows the production of hems in just one step—now also available on the PowerBend Professional, which enables maximum repeat accuracy in series production.
For thick and thin sheets up to 5 mm, the PowerBend Industrial UD 4000 × 5.0 mm is the recommended solution. The 850 mm clamping beam stroke allows for deep boxes up to 400 mm. The Up-and-Down folding technology enables fast switching between positive and negative bends.
In the cutting segment, Schröder presents the motorized shear PDC 3200 × 3.0 mm with automatic blade gap adjustment—ideal for burr-free cutting in the thin sheet range.
Rounding off the portfolio is the motorized slip bending roll 134/15/2 mm from Schröder-Fasti. It impresses with ±0.1 mm repeat accuracy and the CR80 control, which allows for curve-path-controlled rolling without stops—preventing unwanted bends in the sheet.
