From Rivit's experience in fastening systems, comes Controlriv GEN3, the industrial electronic device made in Italy that verifies in real time the correct fastening system, designed for industrial fields such as automotive, heavy carpentry, industrial automation, various assemblies and handling systems. Thanks to its features, Controlriv GEN3 is in a very competitive position on the market: offered in a single model, Controlriv GEN3 allows to verify the correct fastening of the rivet - rivet nuts - lockbolt, through the control of each Rivit tool to which it is connected. In this way, any errors can be promptly reported, saving time and costs due to incorrect fastening. Thanks to its versatility, the new Controlriv GEN3 can be used in two modes: stand-alone or in a cluster (a network of interconnected devices).

Key features that make the new Controlriv GEN3 the new market benchmark include:

• robust and compact mechanics;
• the physical separation of the pneumatic and electronic parts, for quick and easy installation and maintenance;
• real-time measurement of the compressed air pressure supplied to the tool, with programmable tolerance range and error signaling in case of out-of-range;
• real-time monitoring of the fixing process with an alert system via notifications and colour coding;
• data collection and storage, and configurability from remote control;
• Interfacing to Controlriv GEN3 can be done in two ways: via Ethernet/Profinet or via WiFi/Bluetooth.

The new control system designed by Rivit includes a practical front panel with a graphic display, 1 illuminated on/off button, 6 buttons for the main functions and 1 USB port. On the rear side of the machine, on the other hand, there is a panel with 1 USB port, compressed air input/output, 4 opto-isolated inputs/3 outputs and power supply, all of which can be connected via terminal blocks.
