The Schmalz Solution KIT ivOS (Industrial Vision Operating System) simplifies the automated handling of various metal sheets. At Blechexpo, the vacuum specialists will explain to trade visitors how they managed to teach the system to recognise and grip unknown workpieces. This much can be revealed: Thanks to AI and the ivOS platform developed in-house by Schmalz, the commissioning effort is reduced to a minimum.

Visitors can see the system's performance live at the Schmalz stand and also at the ARKU machine manufacturer's stand (Hall 1, Stand 1001). The specialist for levelling and deburring machines as well as conveyor systems has set up a real application that it developed specifically for handling smaller sheet metal parts.

Schmalz demonstrates efficient destacking of particularly thin sheets with an industrial robot. A double sheet sensor on the SGM-HPm magnetic gripper ensures reliable handling. In the application example, the SAXB bellows suction cup also demonstrates that it can pick up workpieces with oiled or curved surfaces at high speed.
For users who need to realise several suction cycles, the SCTSi compact terminal is the right choice.

Schmalz will be exhibiting the VacuMaster Comfort for manual lifting of large sheet metal parts, such as for loading CNC machines. Using a chain hoist suspended from the KBG modular crane gantry, a single person can handle loads of up to 750 kilograms.
A new feature of the JumboFlex tube lifter is the Schmalz Application Assistant (SAA). The digitalisation tool records the operating data of the JumboFlex - for example the degree of soiling of the filter - and thus enables maintenance work to be scheduled appropriately.

Another lifting solution comes from Binar Handling. The Schmalz subsidiary presents the Quick-Lift Rail 125 rail-mounted lifting device.
