Are you in search of a micro-scale laser welding service provider? Are you interested in slim weld seam widths of less than 0.700 mm? If so, LaserJob, with over 30 years of experience in micro-laser welding, is the right partner for you.
Micro-scale welding is particularly in demand of components consisting of various metal parts that need to be precisely, flush, and tightly welded together without adding material. Typical applications include sensors for measuring position, distance, and angle, where the sensors precisely examine and monitor machine movements in the sub-micron range automatically.
Taking the example of a level sensor, two stainless steel discs (thickness: 0.15 mm) with diameters of 22 mm and 23 mm must be welded to the support tube. Both discs must be perfectly flat, centered, and tightly welded to the tube under the protection of argon gas, as shown in the photo. To ensure high reproducibility, all welding processes are carried out with the assistance of fixtures or rotary fixtures.
Due to the stringent requirements inherent in sensor production, all welding processes undergo complex manufacturing and testing procedures.
From concept to the finished product, we work together with you to develop production solution that suits your needs. Thanks to our decades of experience in laser welding, component testing, and fixture construction, our customers in the medical technology, machinery and equipment manufacturing, and automotive industries benefit from this extensive expertise.
