Copper-coated steel wire: our core business
We offer our customers an electrolytically copper-coated carbon steel wire that distinguishes itself from similar products on the market by its exceptional level of quality and copper layer regularity to meet the most demanding requirements.
We work with steel grades ranging from C3D to C70D and diameters from 0.15 mm to 1.80 mm, on which we deposit a copper layer with thicknesses between 0,30 µm bis 12 µm depending on your technical requirements.
Tensile strength of the wire can reach between 350 MPa and 2’500 MPa.
Electrical resistivity varies from 0.250 Ω/m bis zu 0.440 Ω/m depending on diameter of the wire and copper coating thickness.
In order to improve the surface of the copper coated wire we can deep draw the wire at our site on the requested diameter.
An additional annealing is available as an option.
Finally, we offer a wide variety of packaging options, up to a high-capacity coil with 400 kg of wire.
