BLECHexpo and SCHWEISStec Generate Business Power

10th BLECHexpo and 3rd SCHWEISStec firm up their exceptional positioning as Europe’s process sequence platform with just under 26,000 expert visitors and outstanding foreign participation

Slow start on Monday, rapid acceleration as of Tuesday and a successful closing on Thursday – this was the common denominator of the double trade fair consisting of the 10th Blechexpo and the 3rd Schweisstec which were held at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre from the 6th through the 9th of June. In keeping with the slogan for Blechexpo’s 10th anniversary event, namely “Sheet Metal Meets Business”, the transition to “Blechexpo Generates Business Power” is fully justified in light of the trade fair’s successful conclusion. And the same applies to Schweisstec, held this year for the third time, which experienced a surprisingly strong influx of expert visitors from inside and outside of Germany.

With a total of 1030 exhibitors from 31 countries and 753,000 square feet of overall exhibition floor space, complementary trade fairs Blechexpo and Schweisstec are advancing relentlessly. This was made apparent by the 25,852 expert visitors who travelled to Stuttgart from 89 countries around the world, and above all the appreciable numbers of verified machine sales transacted even on the very first day of the event.

The atmosphere amongst the exhibitors, as well as the expert visitors, became more and exuberant by the hour – especially in light of the fact that the good to very good order situation emphatically prompted users of products, systems and tooling for commercial to highly industrial sheet metal processing to invest in state-of-the-art technology.

The 11th Blechexpo and the 4th Schweisstec will once again take place at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre from the 5th through the 8th November, 2013.
