Blechexpo and Schweisstec 2013 – Continuation of the International Success Story!
The entire world of industrial sheet metal processing and joining technology – the process sequence trade fair duo including the Blechexpo international trade fair for sheet metal processing and the Schweisstec international trade fair for joining technology opened its doors with this claim and was once again able to convince the experts at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre from the 5th through the 8thof November, 2013. Just under 915,000 square feet of overall exhibition floor space for 1153 exhibitors from 32 countries around the world, as well as 32,599 expert visitors from 96 nations – these are the hard facts which impressively verify the continuing success story of the comprehensive competence and know-how presentation for sheet metal processing and joining technology.
More Internationalism with 32,599 Expert Visitors from 96 Countries
And the trend towards higher levels of internationalism is just as impressive – with regard to manufacturers and distributors, as well as expert visitors. When no less than 32 industrial nations and emerging countries are represented with their products and services, and when ready-to-invest expert visitors from 96 industrial nations and emerging countries are interested in these offerings, one can justifiably speak of high levels of international acceptance for Blechexpo and Schweisstec. Not least of all the 330 foreign exhibitors once more represented the state-of-the-art in sheet metal processing and joining technology, and introduced themselves to the demanding markets in the German speaking countries and their European neighbours with high-tech products, as well as stand-alone and system solutions.
World Premieres with Cutting, joining and Automation Systems
Above all technological competition stimulates, and it was entirely in this spirit that Blechexpo and Schweisstec 2013 unveiled a large number of world premieres in the field of sheet metal processing machines, as well as joining and fastening processes. Focal points such as sheet metal processing machines, cutting and forming technology, pipe and profile processing plus sheet metal, pipe and profile materials at Blechexpo, as well as thermal cutting and machining, thermal and mechanical joining, fastening technologies and processes plus welding and cutting automation at Schweisstec, hit the bull’s eye as usual and enjoyed the attention of highly interested expert visitors with decision making authority. This is substantiated by numerous, very positive statements from the exhibitors, who were nearly unanimously highly satisfied and confirm the very high quality of Blechexpo’s expert visitors.
Expectations Greatly Exceeded
“More than satisfied and very good business” or “significantly more visitors and greater internationalism than at the last Blechexpo”, as well as “the best trade fair with regard to concrete RFQs” and finally “quantity and quality exceeded all of our expectations” – these were the comments heard from experienced trade fair exhibitors who successfully presented their products and services at the international level. Feedback concerning the star studded supplementary programme was similarly positive with its entirely booked out exhibitor forum which was attended by just under 850 experts. On the one hand the technological and entrepreneurial performance of participating companies and associations, and on the other hand the innovative capabilities of technology and market leaders of all sizes were acknowledged at the Coilex technology park, the “Top of Automobile” special show and the presentation of the first “Blechnet Award”.
The next Blechexpo and Schweisstec will take place from the 3rd through the 6th of November, 2015.
