As Germany’s largest private promoter of technical trade fairs, the Schall group of companies continues to invest in perfecting its online service offerings. On the basis of ultramodern IT solutions provided by SIX Offene Systeme GmbH in Stuttgart, the Schall group continuously optimises exhibitor and visitor services offered at its 50 trade fair websites which provide a host of valuable, additional functions above and beyond the usual trade fair information. Furthermore, the “virtual trade fair” concept has created a permanent, central portal for all exhibitors, providing them with the opportunity of presenting their products and services 365 days a year, regardless of when the “real” trade fair takes place.
All of the Internet portals operated by the Schall group of companies for their trade fairs make use of SIX CMS technology, on the basis of which new, interesting applications and features are continuously developed for the benefit of exhibitors and visitors alike. Beyond this, the system makes it possible to dispatch newsletters to all interested parties and exhibitors, and to conduct and evaluate exhibitor and visitor surveys with online questionnaires during the events.
As an innovative trade fair promoter with exacting demands regarding customer service and satisfaction, Schall is already thinking about the next enhancements: With the help of a trade fair route planner, visitors will be able to create a detailed plan of their trade fair tour in advance in the future. They’ll be able to select exhibitors according to subject heading or by company name – like adding items to a shopping basket – localise them online using a pavilion floor plan and thus generate an individualised route for their trade fair tour. With these advances in the field of IT, the Schall group of companies is once again setting standards where service consciousness and customer orientation are concerned.
